Privacy
The short version
Reading is anonymous. Opening a page stores no cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and asks for nothing about you. The only data this archive ever processes is what you choose to type into a comment — and only if comments are switched on.
Comments
A comment system may be offered on some posts. When it is, this section applies from the moment it goes live.
A comment stores exactly two things: a nickname and the text you write. The nickname is optional; the text is the comment itself. Either way, leaving a comment is entirely voluntary — and we do not store your email address, IP address, or browser user-agent alongside it.
Comments appear publicly right away; comments containing links are held for review first, so nothing with an outbound link goes live before a human looks at it. Comments are plain text — please do not put personal data, yours or anyone else’s, into the nickname or the body, as it may be shown publicly.
Infrastructure and anti-spam
The site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as a processor for delivery and basic protection. When you submit a comment, Cloudflare Turnstile runs an anti-bot check; it is a privacy-preserving alternative to a captcha and is used only to tell humans from automated spam.
Cloudflare may process technical request metadata (such as an IP address) transiently to route and protect traffic, under its own terms. That data is not written into our comment store.
How long things are kept
Comments held for review (those containing links) sit in the waiting room for up to 30 days before they are approved or removed.
Rejected comments are discarded within 7 to 30 days.
A minimal moderation log is kept for up to 90 days so decisions can be reviewed and abuse handled.
Published comments stay until the post itself is removed, or until you ask us to take yours down.
Removing your comment
When you post a comment you can be given a removal token — keep it, and you can delete your own comment yourself at any time, no questions asked.
Lost the token, or want something removed another way? Reach us through the brand’s social channels and we will take it down.
Cookies and analytics
No tracking cookies, no advertising, no cross-site profiling. Aggregate, privacy-first traffic figures come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses a cookieless beacon and does not identify individual readers.
